A couple of weekends ago, I decided to go check out a skimboarding competition that was taking place at Dash Point. I've always been fascinated with the sport, but had never really seen it much in person. It turned out to be a really fun experience. I found myself taking a ton of video on my digital camera, as I wasn't sure my still pictures would capture how cool some of the tricks were.
This past weekend, Kevin convinced me to try to edit them together in iMovie. Never using iMovie or ever editing video together before, it took me a few hours to go through the hundreds of little videos I had filmed, pick the ones I wanted, edit them and then organize them so they'd work well with some music I'd picked out. Below is the result of my efforts, which is a far cry from any professional documentation of an event, but hopefully shows how neat the sport can be, even for spectators.
